BHS & GA Class of 2012

Six-hundred seventy seniors in the Glynn County School System joined their classmates at graduation ceremonies on May 22 and 23 celebrating the accomplishments of the Class of 2012.

From Brunswick High School, 314 students participated in the graduation ceremony held on Wednesday, May 23 in the BHS gymnasium. Graduation speakers were Brittany Hedick, Jenissa Gordon, Alex Metz and Kat Stoklosa. Senior Class President Shruhi Modi gave the Welcome and NJROTC Cadet Commanding Officer Emily Day led the Pledge of Allegiance. Brittany Hedick is valedictorian and Kathryn Stoklosa is the salutatorian of the Brunswick High School Class of 2012.

From Glynn Academy, 356 students received their diplomas at the graduation ceremony held on Tuesday, May 22 at the Glynn County Stadium. Graduation speakers were Valerie Lanzone, Alex Moran, Chris Paschal, John B. Stroud, Kiyo Yamada and Wenxi Zhang. Senior Class President Caroline Weidhaas gave the Welcome, Danielle Reed gave the Inspiration and Student Council President Danielle Ferra conducted the Changing of the Tassel. Alex Moran is valedictorian and John B. Stroud is salutatorian of the Glynn Academy Class of 2012.
