All students attending Needwood Middle School (or any Glynn County Middle School) will have a summer reading assignment. Books selected for summer reading are:

Rules by Cynthia Lord for all incoming 6th grade students

Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life by Wendy Mass for all incoming 8th graders
Jeremy Fink Reading Assignment Activities    

These books will be provided to our students FREE! Rising 6th grade students in Glynn County Schools will receive a copy of Rules delivered to each elementary school. Rising 7th and 8th grade students at Needwood will receive a copy of their book during the last week of school. Students will have all of summer break to complete the reading assignment and activities. See the links above for the activities to be completed before the beginning of school in August.
