"Attire for the dance: Ladies, dresses must meet proper dress length, and all Bs must be covered. No jeans or shorts are allowed at the dance. Make sure there are no slits or distracting/revealing holes in your dresses. Also make sure to wear undergarments.
Young men should be in polo-style shirts or dress shirts with ties. (Sports coats are not required and discouraged due to how hot it can get in the gym once everyone starts dancing.)
No shorts or jeans are allowed for anyone, because this is a SEMI-FORMAL event for BHS students and their guests. Proper attire is expected and will be enforced." "IDs must be brought to the dance to present at the door with your tickets. Your guest must also have a ID (school or driver's license). No ID, no admittance. A shoe and handbag room will be provided to keep your things safe throughout the dance."
