Our school is one of the newer schools in Glynn County.  We have approximately 810 students and are located in an area where there are many new subdivisions opening.

Satilla Marsh has a staff of over seventy eight dedicated professionals who care about children and foster a productive learning environment. The curriculum that is taught is based on the Georgia Performance Standards adopted by the State of Georgia, as well as locally adopted objectives. We offer many unique opportunities for learning and strive to meet the individual learning styles of our students.

We believe that a positive relationship between school and home promotes student success; therefore, we encourage the active involvement of parents, guardians, mentors, and volunteers in our school program. Toward that end, we are constantly open to our community. We are proud of what we do at Satilla Marsh and welcome our community to see that we are, indeed, a great place to be!

• Each classroom is equipped with 2 or more modern networked computers, digital projectors, and networked printers.  In addition 22 of our classes have been updated to 21st century classrooms.
• TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK
  Students and Faculty at Satilla Marsh can access the Glynn County computer network and the www via high speed internet.  Students are expected to access the www using the SME Student Resource page on the Satilla Marsh Web site. 
• VIDEO NETWORK
  Each classroom in the school is equipped with a digital projector or television which is capable of receiving four channels of closed circuit video from the Media Center as well as the normal television channels.  
• ADDITIONAL TECHNOLOGY
  The school has a 30 computer lab and another one is under construction and will be open soon.  Beside the two stationary labs, SME has three portable labs and a portable keyboarding lab.  Smartboards are installed in almost all classrooms. Smartboards are interactive whiteboards that function like a giant touch screen computers.
