Oglethorpe Point Elementary congratulates Mr. Eric Cabrera,
our 2012-13 Teacher of the Year!
...and the Glynn County Teacher of the Year!

Mr. Cabrera has been teaching for four and a half years, with three and a half years experience as a special education paraprofessional. He spent some years dabbling in different studies in California, where he grew up. After majors in journalism, literature, and film he committed to education. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree of early childhood education from Armstrong Atlantic State University.

Mr. Cabrera has a beautiful wife, Tina, and two daughters, Ilena and Isabella. In his free time, he loves watching films, reading, and writing.
