Mrs. Cara Lindsey, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Lindsey is in her fifth year at C. B. Greer and secondt year as Assistant Principal. She holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from North Georgia College & State University, her teaching certification through Armstrong State College, and her M.Ed. in leadership from Georgia College & State University. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. Before coming to C. B. Greer, Mrs. Lindsey enjoyed thirteen years of teaching experiences in third, fourth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades in various Georgia counties including Butts, Camden, and Glynn. Mrs. Lindsey was chosen to represent Glynn County on the CRCT Test Data and Item Review in Atlanta during the summer of 2010 and was able to give meaningful feedback directly to the test creators regarding Fourth Grade Reading and English test items. She enjoys all matters of curriculum, particularly as they relate to working with and supporting educators to improve student achievement, and her leadership at the school and district level with regards to Common Core rollout has been invaluable. While serving as C.B. Greer's International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program Coordinator for several years, Mrs. Lindsey guided the Exhibition, arranged professional development, collaborated with teachers on the POI and planner reflection, and prepared the school for its first reauthorization visit in January of 2013. See Mrs. Lindsey's web page

Mrs. Jackie Tyre, Instructional Coach and IB Primary Years Programme Coordinator

Mrs. Jacqueline Tyre is in her second year as IC at C.B. Greer. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Charleston Southern University and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. Before coming to C.B. Greer, Tyre taught eleven admirable years: six years in Plano, Texas teaching third grade and five years in Glynn county teaching third/fourth grades at Saint Simons Elementary School. Every year, Georgia recognizes its best teachers. These professionals receive a Master Teacher designation on their certificates, identifying them as educators who have positively influenced student achievement in the classroom. Tyre received this designation in 2011. She has always had a genuine love for teaching but has developed a strong connection with the art involved in creating lessons/units that deliver meaningful real world applications using the state curricula. With these two loves in mind, she looks forward to helping teachers at C.B. Greer facilitate the International Baccalaureate Organization's vision of encouraging students to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right. Mrs. Tyre has served as IB Coordinator since February of 2013.  See Mrs. Tyre's web page
