Early Invervention Program

    

Early Intervention Program

Children start school at a designated chronological age, but differ greatly in their intellectual development and experience base. The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is designed to serve students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level. The purpose of the Early Intervention Program is to provide additional instructional resources to help students who are performing below grade level obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade level performance in the shortest possible time. Sarah Saunders

On a personal note, I'm a life-long resident of Glynn County. I attended St. Francis Xavier and graduated from Glynn Academy. I received my B.S.Ed. from Armstrong Atlantic University. I began teaching at Burroughs-Molette in 1994.  I'm married to Chris Saunders and I have one son, Forrest Taylor, three step-daughters, Kristen, Brianna and Lauren and a grandson, Landon.

 

Rosa Wilson

Hello, Greetings from Burroughs-Mollette,

My name is Rosa Wilson. I attended Alabama State University and completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice. I received my teacher certification through Armstrong Atlantic University/Georgia Southern University in Early Childhood Education. My masters were achieved from Cambridge Massachusetts. Also, I obtained my certification in Educational Leadership and Administration/Supervision through Nova South Eastern University out of Florida. I am presently working as a Teacher Support Specialist in first grade and kindergarten as well. I enjoy working with the young impressionable children so, I can make a difference growing and learning along with them. Reading and Math is my specialty to help with a lot of reinforcement and encouragement.

Monique Collins

Ms Collins recently moved here from Loganville, Georgia.  She attended Athens State, Waldron University and Liberty University.  She holds a Masters Degree in Math and Reading and is currently working on her Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning.  She has been teaching for 13 years.  She holds certification in PK-8, Gifted, and TSS. 

 

Hyacinth Underwood

Ms Underwood is originally from Guyana in South America.  She is a naturalized citizen of the United States.  Ms Underwood received her BS and MS from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls Campus.  She is certified to teach grades K-8th in Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York and Georgia.  She has taught in New York and Georgia.
