BHS is a comprehensive high school for grades 9-12 with approximately 1750 students and a staff of 120. As a unit of the Glynn County School District,
Brunswick High School has been fortunate in having special resources, including our outstanding teachers!
Our Partners in Education support our school in many ways. A special thanks from the learning community at Brunswick High to: Rich-Sea Pak Corporation, Georgia Power Company, Belks, and  Athletic Attic.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Brunswick High School, in partnership with parents and other community members, strives to

provide all students a quality education in a safe, supportive, and disciplined environment, and to

prepare them to become responsible citizens in a culturally diverse society.

  1. We believe all students can learn.
  2. We believe students' educational needs should be the primary focus of all decisions impacting the work of the school.
  3. We believe students need to demonstrate essential knowledge and skills as well as higher learning through problem solving and the production of quality work.
  4. We believe curriculum and instructional practices should incorporate a variety of learning activities to accommodate differences in learning styles.
  5. We believe positive relationships and mutual respect among and between students and staff enhance everyone's self-esteem.
  6. We believe students should receive individual counseling from a guidance counselor to determine diploma pathways, courses of study, and career goals.
  7. We believe all students are responsible for their actions and must be held accountable for their choices.
